How junk-removal estimates work
Most junk-removal jobs are priced by volume — how much space your items take up in the truck. A quarter-load, half-load, three-quarter or full load each corresponds to a portion of our truck bed.
Heavy materials like tile, concrete, dirt or roofing debris are priced differently because they hit weight limits before they fill the truck. That's why the estimator asks a separate question about heavy debris — we don't want to accidentally under-price a heavy load.
Stairs, tight access, disassembly and long carries add labor, so they can move the price a bit. Elevator buildings and ground-floor access keep costs lower.
Photos help a lot. A couple of quick phone photos let us confirm volume, condition and access, so the quote we send back is much closer to the real number.
The number this tool shows is a preliminary estimate, not a binding quote. A Fresh Start team member reviews every request and confirms the final price before we start any work.
Frequently asked
Is the estimator price the final price?
No — it's a preliminary range. We'll confirm a firm quote after reviewing your job.
Do I have to upload photos?
They're optional but strongly recommended — they usually shave time off scheduling.
